Extrañando los noventas

Extraño los noventas. Por eso me atrae la idea de ir a un bar que se autodenomine post-rave.

'Post-rave' is a form of electronic music and is a style of rave music. It originated in the early 2000s in Uzbekistan and is distinctive, as most forms of rave music were developed in Europe. The underground rave music phenomena changed dramatically since its appearance in the early 2000s and is steadily gaining popularity. This transformation is hallmarked by a case of pop-cultural fragmentation, defining the post-rave musical sound. The division follows from numerous social and cultural forces that have altered rave music’s trajectory. Currently it is lodged somewhere between its authentic form and a more commercial pop culture variation.
The cultural fragmentation of post-rave should be read as an example of core/periphery tension and change. Post-rave paralleled the emergence of Psytrance during the early 2000s, but they are very distantly related. In popular culture, post-rave is played mostly on the Internet, although it can be found in small clubs in the United States of America, Uzbekistan, and Romania, among other countries where it is gaining momentum.
Among the first compilations or albums where post-rave could be heard, as opposed to "normal" rave music, was "''Climax On The Dancefloor''" by DJ Tim Avery and MC Pumpz from the "''Drumloops Of The Year EP''" and "''An Unhealthy Child Dreams Of The World Outside (Using The Tools She Has Inside)''" and its successor "''The Incredible Buildup''" by The Betrayer Of Mankind (Reason) and DJ Low Key.
